On Wednesday, September 25, 2024, Ms. Thanphicha Theeraratchanon, Director of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 (Director of ROAE2 Phitsanulok), along with the Director of the Division, Head of the Department, Civil Servants, Permanent Employees, Civil Servants, and Officers of Office of Agricultural Economics Region 2 organized a flag-saluting activity and singing the Thai national anthem on the occasion of the Thai National Flag Day, September 28, at ROAE2.

The Cabinet meeting on September 20, 2016 resolved to designate September 28 of every year as the Thai National Flag Day in order to create national pride and to commemorate King Rama VI who granted the Tricolor Flag as the Thai national flag.
